Three ways to experience a Stray
Whether you’re looking for an uncompromising handbuilt frame, a bespoke build made close to home, or a small-batch production bike, there is more than one way into the Stray world. Each is built around the same ride character, geometry and design philosophy, but expressed through a different approach to how the bike is made and who it is made for.
Studio Edition
the instrument
Our purest expression of the Stray ethos. Handbuilt one frame at a time in southern Germany, the Studio Edition is for the rider who sees a bicycle as an instrument rather than simply a means of transport.
Built from a curated blend of heat-treated Reynolds 853, 631 and Columbus Zona tubing, with Paragon Machine Works sliding dropouts and yokes. The hand-brazed bi-plane fork uses Columbus Zona blades, tuned for compliance on long days without sacrificing steering precision. Finished in distinctive Prismatic Powders colours.
Limited production, individual attention and no unnecessary compromises.

Swiss Edition
the bespoke
Hand-brazed by master builder and local legend Wim Kolb in his Zurich workshop, the Swiss Edition is built to order from a premium blend of Reynolds 853, 631, Columbus Zona and Dedacciai Uno tubing.
It comes with a beautiful segmented fork, a nod to the iconic Rocky Mountain frames of the early 1990s, and can be tailored with custom options to suit the rider and the way they intend to use it.
Available as a frameset or complete build for our Swiss home market.

Series Edition
the tool
The same Stray philosophy, made more accessible.
Built in small batches in the French Pyrenees by one of France’s leading boutique bicycle manufacturers, the Series Edition uses custom-formed, butted and heat-treated 4130 chromoly steel tubing and shares the same fundamental geometry and riding philosophy as the Studio Edition.
A bi-plane fork, durable semi-matte powder-coat finishes and a new S/M size complement the M/L and L/XL sizes also offered in the Studio Edition, making the Series a Stray for more riders and more kinds of everyday adventure.
More accessible. More widely available. Still unmistakably Stray.
